I have never been a fan of snacking while studying. I usually just have something to drink nearby to stay hydrated. However, recently I talked to one of my friends who absolutely must eat some snacks while studying. She says that helps her stay focused.
I can't see how this can help someone stay focused, as it would cause even more distraction for me, not to mention the potential mess.
Do any of you here also practice snacking while studying, and how does that affect your studying performance?
