I was gifted a year’s subscription to BBC Maestro. There are some interesting courses on there. The majority are 6 hours long and split into multiple videos. There are also supporting course books (which seem to get updated over time). The price for "lifetime" per course ownership (£79) is steep and the yearly fee (£120) is also high. If you do have access, the courses are varied from Acting, Business, Cooking and Creative Writing courses.
I'm currently watching Alan Moore's (author) Storytelling course and it’s like a 1 to 1 sit down while he takes you through how to be a better writer. Showing the process and tools to arm yourself with. I'm really enjoying it, even though I don't have much interest in creative writing it gives insight in how stories are crafted and the effort it takes.
If anyone else has also used the platform, what other courses do you recommend?
