Yoga 7i v 9i for Educator and Student Use???

Curious as to group feedback on these two models of Yoga 2-1 laptops for educator and student use. Both seem slim and light, and have fairly comparable hardware. For the cost savings, is the Yoga 7i the one to go with (assuming equivalently spec’d), or is here hidden value in the 9i (again, equivalently spec’d) that I am overlooking. I guess at the heart of my query is if he 9i is simply aesthetically “nicer” as a the premium Yoga, but otherwise the 7i is equally good for a lower price? Any users with experience on both Yoga’s able to offer an informed perspective?  Is there ANY apps or uses for a student or educator that would differentiate either model? As someone not previously as dialed in to Lenovo as some other computer manufactures, I am curious to learn more on these two models.
