Have you sought guidance from mentors, career counselors, or professionals in your desired field? If any, share your experience what sought of guidance you received?

    I would advise anyone in college to take advantage of their guidance counselor and also all the resources at the college career centers. The career center has a lot to offer. Lastly, when you start a job, identify someone that has a role you’d like to be in and ask them if they’d be a mentor and schedule monthly meetings with them. Another alternative is to find a famous individual and watch their videos on YouTube.

    Sound advice, also: Make your bosses job easier! It's the very best thing you can do, ask him how to do it.

    Even if you have nothing to ask about, just socializing and developing a relationship will be a great resource to have

    It's good to find someone in a position you would like to be, 2 levels above at max, and ask them to mentor you in the company you are at. Just remember, your direct supervisors can't be your mentors and nor people directly impacted by your work, that's a conflict of interest.
