I'm currently an IT professional that has only two years of experience. I love my job and so decided to go back to grad school in Information Management and am absolutely convinced I've made the right choice. This makes me a career changer though because I gave up my teaching career (for which I already had a Master's degree) to follow my spouse who works overseas. When I'm done with my program I'll be looking for opportunities for remote work so I can continue working while following my spouse. What advice do you have for a career changer entering a new field, especially in Info Management? What do you have in your portfolio that sets you apart from others? - social media? professional certificates? personal projects?
