Accomplishments

What are the achievements you are most proud of? In business, education, personal life, anything.

  • Raising kind children and staying debt free.

  • I never give up, I am still hoping.

  • I think the word Pride has a few meanings today.

    1. A sense of one's own proper dignity or value; self-respect.
    2. Pleasure or satisfaction taken in an achievement, possession, or association.
    3. Arrogant or disdainful conduct or treatment; haughtiness.

I think it's very important to distinguish between these.  1 and 2 are generally positive.  3 is negative.  I think that 1 and 2 turn into 3 when we don't understand where we came from and who we are and who our creator is.

With that being said, I have understood my own value the most when I have understood how far God went to save me on the cross. And I have found the most pleasure and satisfaction in achievements, possessions, and relationships when I have trusted God to get me there and thanked God when I have arrived.

  • Not enough time in the day for all of this. Well done. Any tips?

  • Finally published my first paper!

  • Buying a house all on my own and raising a son who grew into a fine man who is now serving our country in the military!

  • Moving to another country!

  • Starting my own business.

  • Succeeding in a business after my husband and I divorced and left me to run the business by myself.

  • Paying off all my debts.
