Do you like remote/online learning?

For most of the world, online/remote learning has become the new standard for schooling.

What are your thoughts on online learning?

Do you like the convenience of learning from home, or do you miss the in-person classroom experience?

  • For myself it is most certainly a mix of feelings: I like the convenience but at the same time I am in a semi-rural area so home internet is kind of meh and as such more often than not it is actually in-person that ends up being better imo over here. So at least where I am at I am getting a fair share of both kinds of learning and I like both about the same given their boons and banes.

  • Fair answer! I'm definitely living a bit more rural right now, so can appreciate the internet issues Stuck out tongue Looking forward, what do you think is your ideal mix of in-person vs remote?

  • I think - and sorry for not responding for a while, I've been busy with work and all - that in-person is best for e.g. labs, science classes in general, and anything involving physical manipulation of something/projects.

Online I find works well - for me - for mathematics classes, literary classes, history classes,  the sort.

I don't know if there is any true rhyme or reason to this as this has just been in my personal experience so I honestly can't say.

Say, is there a student discord like the gaming discord by chance?
