DIY Computer? Build or Buy?

Have you built your own Windows RaspPi or Linux PC?  Why?  Was it expensive or cheaper?  Will employers or school appreciate the effort?

  • Not yet, I havent tried building my own PC. The laptop so far has been enough for my usage.

  • RaspPi is super cheap and it's a cool project. Employers and schools won't mind however unless you create something useful with it like automating tasks using your own code.

  • I got to do more research about RaspPi. And, by Linux PC you mean VM?
