Audible Free Trial

Audible just announced another free trial. Get 3 free months with 3 free audiobooks and podcasts or whatever else they do. Set an alert in your phone before 3 months is up and make the decision to keep it or cancel. Really good offer. Ends 2/21/24. I'm returning from last year, so it's not exclusive to new customers. Not just novels. I got education, how-to, non-fiction, reference type books. Go get some free stuff. Learn something. Invest in yourself and your future for free.

Tell everyone what you got here. Or don't. Whatever.

  • Thanks for the hint.

I would probably not want to keep paying the monthly fee after the trial period though. And I don't feel quite right using the free time/books when I know I don't really have any intention of staying signed up afterward.
For now, I will stick to checking out audio books from my library. (Even though Audible seems to have a wider selection.)

But for people who are really considering signing up this seems like a great offer.

  • Nice, now I can use Audible temporarily in place of the built in Kindle Voiceview with a robotic voice

  • Thanks for the info. I am already an audible subscriber so I won't be able to use this.

  • Really exciting news!

  • I usually listen to stuff while doing other things. I try to maximize my productivity time that way. If you try transcribing an audiobook (taking notes, bullet points) writing down the information is shown to greatly increase memory or information retention or something. I wasn't really listening, didn't write it down.

You can turn one on while you drive or go to bed. Some of it will stick.

  • I've never tried audible, but free makes it worth a listen. I've heard good things about them.

  • You can also try some audio books from your library first to see how/if you like it.

  • Thanks for sharing. I've never used Audible, but maybe I'll check it out.

  • Sounds like a great offer to get started with audiobooks! An opportunity to try out to see if the format works for you! Thanks for sharing!

  • Glad to hear you are so enthused! But if I find out you started drawing again, so help me...
