Not a lot of people can say that their work has been documented in film and narrated by David Attenborough, but Rodrigo Medellín is on that list!

The renowned Mexican mammalogist is an Explorer at Large with National Geographic and credited with saving the Tequila Bat from extinction. He's slogged through caves shin-deep in bat poop more times than he can count as he's worked on the ecology and conservation of bats for over 40 years.
