What is a shared, synchronized immersive reality experience?

Imagine you could travel to anywhere in the ocean, with anyone you want, all without leaving the comfort of your home.

This virtual dive will integrate livestreamed video presentation and 360 documentary video through a simple and easy to use application. As long as you have an internet connection, you can join fellow virtual divers from all over the world—in real time, as we explore marine ecosystems below the waves.

Do you have a VR headset? Great!

Do you not have a VR headset? No problem!

The Hydrous Virtual Dive Team is focused on accessibility. You will be able to experience the virtual dive on your own device! The 360 documentary video portions of the dive can be experienced on tablets to VR headsets, laptops to phones.

The first-of-its-kinds virtual reality experience is free and open to anyone who wants to take a dive into the crystal clear waters off Palau.
