Happy International Day for Biological Diversity! Today is a United Nations-sanctioned international day for the promotion of biodiversity issues. Celebrate with us by watching the 2022 Global Biodiversity Festival that starts today and will live stream all over the world, all weekend.
Over 160 prominent scientists, explorers, filmmakers, and conservationists from all seven continents will be presenting the inspiring work they do to protect biodiversity.
According to the UN, “biological diversity is often understood in terms of the wide variety of plants, animals and microorganisms, but it also includes genetic differences within each species and the variety of ecosystems (lakes, forest, deserts, agricultural landscapes) that host multiple kind of interactions among their members (humans, plants, animals).”
The Global Biodiversity Festival will be livestreaming all weekend. Click the links below to watch from the comfort of your home at a time that is convenient for you! (Note: All times are listed in Eastern Time. Add 5 hours for UK time, 12 hours for Kuala Lumpur, and 14 hours for Sydney.)
