  • Great advice and tips for success! Going into interviews well-prepared is the key to success! Although there is no "right" answer, having done some research on the company and having precise and concise answers gives you the advantage!

  • Helpful information for students looking for that internship.

  • I was never good with answering these kind of "open" questions.   Could answer specific questions, but not this kind where there is no actual answer.   So, it's a great idea to practice and formulate answers before you start interviewing.

  • Great article. Good advices and informative!

  • Great points on what the answer and remember it's also important about how you answer, the way and attitude you carry yourself

  • Why all the strange repetition of sentences? I believe that the applicant has to come with a good balance of confidence and humility. He or she has to realize that it is the company who is extending a favor here. We live in a super casual culture. So dressing appropriately and being respectful is the starting point. Leave the cellphone in the car. Dress for the occasion. Read the company website so you have at least a glimpse of their vision and mission. And be ready to learn. • Very interesting information! Applies to normal job interviews too.

  • Some great advice!!

  • Absolutely, Ms. Eileen!  It was easy to spot the candidates who came prepared for their interview.  They were well prepared, dressed nicely, and typically had a professional demeanor.  If a person behaves and performs at a level above the one they are at now, it doesn't take long for them to move up quickly within their professional company ranking.  This holds true for interns and volunteers as well too as long as one doesn't begin to behave too pompously.

Thank you for replying to my comment.  I hope you have a wonderful day.

  • Good stuff. A well-prepared, knowledgeable, & honest candidate stands out every time.
