  • It can be good to prepare not just for specific questions, but to think about what you want and who you are in relation to the company, and what the company may be looking for in you in a general sense. Not just doing your homework, but insuring you don't get befuddled or stumble in open ended interviews. 

  • Preparation can help for sure.  Also helps to be friendly, relaxed and confident.   Good people skills will go a long way in your career.
