I am a PhD student facing a huge decision: do I follow my mentor to a new school (and leave my husband behind for 3 years while doing so) or do I find another area to focus. I am most certainly interested in continuing a science career, but am questioning if I want to continue that career in genetics or not. I can't tell if my upcoming decision is just souring my opinion on the field, or if maybe I should look into other options. Do you have any good science-related career aptitude tests that could maybe capture general field, career path (academia, industry, government, etc)?
