For the digital artists and content creators in our community, here's a terrific resource for some free assets:
Free monthly digital asset downloads from the series of Envato Market websites.
There are up to 7 freebies per month, one from each of their markets. The only catch is that support and updates are not provided for free files and you can only use the asset, by you or one client, in a single end product which end users are not charged for. They do offer an extended license though, where end users can be charged, if that's something you might need.

To claim each item, just scroll down towards the bottom of the main page to the monthly free items section and then click on each item to go to that asset's page where you can click the download button.
I made it a habit to download all the free assets each month so I can have them in my digital library in case I should ever have the need for one of them.
