Common Antihistamines may Increase Risk of Alheimer's?

I'm sure that no one wants to have Alzheimer's Disease in their future. Posting here in EDU, because this was educational for me. There is some data that people that take as few as 25 doses a year of some common Antihistamine's, like Diphenhydramine and Chlorphenamine Maleate, can increase the risk of getting Alzheimer's by 10 to 30%. Both of these are also sold as Sleep Aids too. So taking a sleep aid as little as once every other week, could increase your risk of getting Alzheimer's Disease. Cause and Affect is not directly shown... As it could be that people who need Antihistamines, or sleep aids, may just be predisposed to Alzheimers. In any case, I'm stopping any use of these type drugs because it seems like the right thing to do.
