One of the most frustrating things about computer purchases for me is the inevitable and sometimes rapid obsolescence. As such I've often ended up with middle of the road models because it never seems worth dishing out big dollars when it will be replaced in short time anyways. Its coming time to consider a new desktop and I would love insight and recommendations for something for home use - no gaming or heavy graphics draw. Spreadsheets, internet, dual monitor usage, sometimes video but that's about it. What do you have, why do you like it or not and/or what are you hoping to get in the near future?
